Romney, who has made a habit of alienating American women due to his patronizing and dismissive approach to women's health issues, his support for the Blunt amendment, a bill that was introduced to restrict access to birth control by allowing any employer the right to deny health insurance coverage for any benefit based on a “moral” conviction, his declaration of: “Planned Parenthood, we’re going to get rid of that.”, declaring that he would nominate mysoginistic, homophobic and regressive justices like Scalia.
Well, it gets no better with his VP pick.
Rep. Paul Ryan cosponsored a bill that would give fetuses full personhood rights from the moment of fertilization, voted to defund federal family planning programs, authored a budget that dismantles Social Security, Medicaid and Medicare, all of which disproportionately aid and employ women, and voted multiple times to prevent women in the military from using their own money to pay for abortions at military hospitals.
Ryan also supported a ridiculous bill that Democrats nicknamed the "Let Women Die Act," which would have allowed hospitals to refuse to provide a woman emergency abortion care, even if her life is on the line, based on "Moral" grounds.
Only Stepford wives and Republican women believe these are good policies, reasonable people know better.
