Ignoring the facts that Republicans declared the week after the election that they would not work with Obama at all, and would do everything in their power to crash his presidency, even if it harms the nation, is the ultimate in blind allegiance.
Republicans put their party ahead of the nation, and way ahead of the people that elected them to represent them. This is an empirical fact.

This has never been done before. One party refusing to uphold their obligation to govern, refusing to facilitate legislation to help the economy, filibustering 100% of legislation proposed by Democrats, holding or filibustering political and judicial appointments, openly lying to the American public, inventing "Facts" that border on the absurd, keeping millions of Americans unemployed in the hope that one man will lose his job....
THAT is the travesty, THAT is the transgression, These are the machinations that are damaging the country, THIS is tyranny.
If you do not wish to believe it is happening, just put your head back into the right wing echo chamber, because you are part of the problem, not the solution!
